We celebrated Mr. Miles' first birthday this past Saturday and I think we surpassed all of his wildest dreams for a first birthday:)
The planning started months ago. By planning, I mean I pondered over a theme and began pinning like a mad woman. Side bar....if you're not familiar with 'pinning' - stop over
here and say good bye to valuable hours that will now be spent 'pinning'.
I landed on a Woodland Forest Animals theme and the rest, they say, is history.
Acorns treats

Delicious and AMAZING cookies made by my coworker
People were afraid to eat them because they were so slammin lookin
But once they did....they were GONE they were so good!

The littlest guest...Quinn

Me and my boy

One of our little forest creatures....
Miles enjoying his new ball pit and couch
And enjoying outfit change #3 of the day
Not because he's fashionable like that...
but because he successfully pooped through 2 other outfits
due to some killer antibiotics for an ear infection

Fancy that, the ball pit fits a family
I'm sure Jay would like to trap us in here at times;)

The day was fabulous, the weather perfect and we were surrounded by lots of family that love our little man as much as we do. Thanks for all who celebrated with us!
And I'd like to give a shout out to all my peeps who helped make this day special: Marni Blickem (woodland creatures and wood stumps),
Christy Bode Photography (for some of the beautiful photos featured on this post), Meigan Westermann (for some dope cookies) and last but not least, Emily Lowry (director of print/cut outs).
PS - more pictures to come of the day, including more of the birthday boy. I just didn't have any on my camera and need to round up from others:)
